Our 100% grass-fed double ground chuck is typically available in 2# and 5# packages, while special orders are also welcomed. The heard of Scottish Highland/Devon crosses rotate through the 100 acres of pastures absorbing the nutrients they need from the fertile grasses. The Farm retains as much control over the cycle from pasture as possible assuring the highest quality. Artisan Butcher Carl Gill shepherds Chef Stephen Browning in the on-sight cut-room where they are able to hone their lost art. All Glasbern Farm’s livestock is returned from the USDA certified abattoir for final processing.

There is simply no substitute for pasture raised chicken. These Cornish Crosses are raised in portable pens that are moved daily and allow them total access to green grass and fresh air. Wild forages and insects make up to 30% of our birds diets while whole grains (non GMO) fill the balance. Healthy animals do not get sick and these birds benefit from the opportunity to live with out antibiotics or growth hormones on pastures that are not treated with herbicides or pesticides. In return they afford us another healthy alternative.
